WHAT IS LAB SORT?

Lab Sort is a program made to help you organize your workspace. You have the ability to add inventory, update the location of items, and locate anything currently in your workspace with the click of a button. Plus, Lab Sort allows the creation of custom layouts with user-selected pictures so that it is easy to locate any item in your space. Additionally, Lab Sort has the ability to work over your network so that multiple people can organize and search your workspace at the same time, increasing productivity and work satisfaction.

HOW DOES LAB SORT WORK?

Lab Sort is simple to set up and install. The only prerequisite for installation is a MySQL database on your device or network! Lab Sort connects with the provided database to keep track of items and their location, meaning that we don't even touch your personal data. Lab Sort also uses password encryption and MySQL's secure networking to ensure that you maintain the highest level of security.

ABOUT THE CREATOR

Hi! My name is Josh Schrock. I am currently a Senior at Goshen High School and am working towards a career in an engineering or technology field. I am passionate about simplifying work and life, and I am hopeful that Lab Sort will do that for you.


I initially created Lab Sort to organize my school's engineering lab, and the project has gradually expanded over the past year. I hope that Lab Sort can help you and many others relieve organizational headaches to make working less stressful.
